Exploring The Unbeaten Path goes Fukushima

In 2011 a big earthquake caused a huge Tsunami which hit the coast of Japan and almost destroyed the nuclear powerplant of Fukushima. The plant was shutdown, but this meant the reactors could not be cooled enough and went into meltdown. A large area was evacuated and has not been inhabited ever since.
Our friends of Exploring The Unbeaten Path went into this forbidden zone and came back with this trailer for the soon to be released series.

Amazing Bird’s Nest Safari Lodge in Kenya

Going on a proper safari is one of life's great pleasures. I've personally stayed in some awesome lodges of which Earth Lodge in Sabi Sabi was simply out of this world.

For Cubans, Wi-Fi means family

The introduction of Wi-Fi hotspots in Cuban public spaces two years ago has transformed the Communist-run island that had been mostly offline. At dusk, when the worst of the Caribbean heat has subsided, parks around Cuba fill with families video chatting with loved ones abroad or scrolling through social media, their animated faces lit by telephone and tablet screens.

A gory fight to the death between snarling dogs and captured wild boars.
Gathered around a bamboo-walled arena, Indonesians in this remote part of Java island seem eager to watch the blood-curdling contests, known locally as 'adu bagong' (boar fighting).
Totally not cool in our opinion.

Drone Footage of the Texas World Speedway the Hurricane Harvey Flooded Car Storage

Hurricane Harvey caused a lot of flooding and consequently, damage.
Thousands of cars were turned into wrecks and they have been stored at the Texas World Speedway.
It's a sad, but impressive sight.

Diving in Okinawa

I went to Okinawa last week and did some diving/snorkeling. I had never done it before and it was beautiful and I will definitely get into proper diving asap.
The peace, the quiet, the beautiful sights. Just totally cool.
