Loads of places around the world have so-called New Year's Day dips into ice cold water.
So too The Netherlands. At the beach in Scheveningen thousands of people, wearing very little, take the plunge in the cold North Sea.
Even though the sun is not shining and an ice cream is out of the question, they still seem to enjoy it, but we're still not tempted. Maybe next year. Thanks to Rutger Geerling and Unox.
