Day 6 of the London Olympics saw the hosts pick up several more gold medals. Shooting, 2 man canoeing and track cycling boosted Team GB after the earlier golds. Especially the gold medal for Sir Chris Hoy in the cycling blew the roof of the impressive Velodrome. The noise while watching on tv was deafening, I can only image what it was like inside the thing. Michael Phelps also pleased the crowds and himself by winning his 20th (TWENTIETH!!) medal in the pool. Today the athletics starts.
