It was another day filled with drama, joy and tears in the Olympic Park. In the athletics Chinese hurdler Liu Xiang injured himself on take off and crashed at the first hurdle. During the heat several others crashed and it was more a comedy of errors than an Olympic race. Liu Xiang limped to the last hurdle before kissing it goodbye and leaving in tears. Later in the day Sir Chris Hoy also had some tears on display, but they were tears of joy as he became Britain's most decorated Olympian ever with 6 gold medals. I know Michael Phelps wins those in 3 days, but it's still a mean feat.
