Formula One 2012: Canadian Grand Prix

They did it again! Seven races, seven different winners. The Canadian Grand Prix was an exciting one. Some teams and drivers gambled on a one stop strategy while others went for a two stop strategy. For a while it looked like the one stoppers Vettel and Alonso were going to decide who was going to take the top spot on the podium, but with 15 laps to go their tires started to lose their grip more and more and 2 stoppers such as Hamilton and Grosjean were gaining by a second a lap. Hamilton passed Vettel and Alonso with ease with 6 laps to go and things got so bad that one stopper Vettel pitted for new tires with only laps to go and still managed to overtake Alonso, who had decided to stick with his worn tires, to claim 4th place. Grosjean and Perez drove brilliant races and were rewarded with second and third places. Hamilton now leads te world championship by 2 points from Alonso and 3 from Vettel.
