Alex Zanardi is a remarkable man. In the 90′s he was a world class racing driver, winning two CART championships and driving for Williams in the Formula One championships. In 2001 he was involved in a horrific crash which resulted in his legs having to be amputated. However, Alessandro is no quitter and two years after his crash he was back behind the wheel of a BMW Touring Car. He did this for 6 years before turning his attention to handbiking. He is now in traingin for the London Olympics and I for one hope he wins a gold medal.
