The Russians marched on Warsaw and the riot police and Polish fans tried to stop them. We could go into the history of these two nations, but let’s just say they don’t like each other much and showed it. The game between Poland and Russia was a lot of fun to watch. It was fast and both Poland and Russia had periods of domination. Russian teenage wonderkid Dzagoev scored his third goal of the tournament to put Russia one goal up, but a beautiful goal by Poland’s Blaszczykowski settled the game at one goal a piece. Let’s hope Warsaw has a quiet night.
