What a race the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Barcelona turned out to be. After the drama of Hamilton being demoted from pole position to last on the grid due to a lack of fuel on board after the qualifying, the race started with Pastor Maldonado, driving for Williams, in pole position. A novelty for F1 and for him. At the start Ferrari driver and Spain’s Great Hope, Fernando Alonso took the lead, but after 66 laps it was that same Maldonado who crossed the finish line in first place. What a season this is turning out to be and it is off to Monaco next.
