9 Days ago a devastating earthquake hit Haiti which ruined an already poor country. The relief effort has finally gotten underway after many roads, the main airport and port we’re rendered unusable by the earthquake. In the days following the quake Haitians, desperate for anything they could get their hands on, started looting and killing each other. The earthquake is now thought to have killed at least 200.000 people and although aid is finally starting to arrive in the quantities needed there will be plenty of work to be done for years to come to get Haiti and it’s people back on their feet.

Curious if anyone has pictures 10 days before the quake.
It was interesting to hear (media usually exaggerates)just how quickly these people turned on themselves in such a time of trouble. It was almost like a match was thrown into a powder keg of hatred.
Hope they can recover and the scars of their own behavior do not run too deep.
