On January 12th 2010 at 16:53pm Haiti turned into hell on earth. An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 on the scale of Richter hit one of the poorest nations on earth and left devastation and death in its path. Buildings collapsed, roads were destroyed and thousands of lives lost. Without any infrastructure left to use it was difficult to get the relief effort organized which in turn left many Haitians, who had already lost everything, frustrated and angry. Initial reports spoke of tens of thousands of dead and injured.
